The origin of the term "Authority" often refers to jurisprudence; however, it has also reached the literature of the science of the commentary of the Holy Quran. For example, the question of authority in the commentary has been specifically addressed in such matters as the authority of the Single chain of transmission, as well as the authority of the words of the companions and subordinates. But the serious question remains that what is the concept and function of the term “Authority” in other sciences beside jurisprudence? With regard to authority, one can speak of the distinction between the use of authority in comprehension and the authority in practice, and even the inability to use authority in comprehension and cognition. Concerning the term "Single Chain of Transmission "can talk about possibility of different approach. in non-jurisprudential areas. This function can be followed while analyzing the relationship between the text and the audience (both when producing the text and when interpreting it). Nonetheless, removing one's mind from the jurisprudential perspective and the distinction between jurisprudence and other (whether interpretation or history, etc.) is not due to limitation of the jurisprudence, instead it is due to its depth throughout the history and its unintended impacts on other Islamic sciences. <strong>حجیت خبر واحد (متشکل از دو اصطلاح «حجیت» و «خبر واحد»)، از بحث­ های مبسوط در کتب فقهی، اصولی و تفسیری است. خاستگاه اصطلاح «<em>حجیت</em>»، غالباً به فقه باز می­گردد، با این حال، این اصطلاح به ادبیات علم تفسیر قرآن نیز راه یافته است؛ برای نمونه، مسئله حجیت در تفسیر، به‌صورت مشخص در مواردی چون حجیت خبر واحد و همین طور حجیت اقوال صحابه و تابعین مطرح شده است. حال این سؤال جدّی مطرح است که مفهوم و کارکرد اصطلاح حجیت، در غیر فقه چگونه است؟ به­ نظر می‌رسد نه تنها می‌توان میان کارکرد حجیت در مقام فهم و مقام عمل، تمایز قائل شد، حتی می‌توان به امتناع کاربرد حجیت در مقام فهم و معرفت قائل شد. نسبت به اصطلاح «<em>خبر واحد</em>» نیز می‌توان از امکان تفاوت نگرش به آن در فضاهای غیر فقهی سخن گفت. این نگرش غیر فقهی را می­توان ضمن تحلیل رابطه‌ای میان متن و مخاطب (چه در زمان تولید متن و چه در زمان تفسیر آن) پی­گیری کرد. به هر حال، زدودن ذهن از نگاه فقهی و تمایز‌بخشی بین فقه و غیر آن اعمّ از تفسیر و تاریخ و ...، نه از باب تنقیص فقه بلکه به سبب ژرفای دستگاه فقاهتی در طول تاریخ و اثرگذاری ناخواسته آن بر سایر علوم اسلامی است.</strong> http://jostar-fiqh.maalem.ir/article_69098_bc2c552807e04b88a32fd6139cdcb6e7.pdf
